Self catering on the Wild Atlantic Way
Welcome to the French family’s 200-year-old farmhouse.
Nestled between the bustling market town of Clonakilty and the tranquil village of Rosscarbery, our cottage farmhouse offers a rare chance to experience West Cork as it has always been — unhurried, authentic, and deeply rooted in the Irish land.
The house is a working piece of our family’s history. Stone walls that have stood since the early 1800s, low ceilings worn by generations, and a hearth that has warmed countless winter evenings. What you find is the real thing — an old Irish farmhouse, honest and full of character.
Outside, the farm rolls into the West Cork countryside, with the salt air of the Atlantic never far away. You are perfectly placed to explore one of Ireland’s most celebrated coastal routes, with the Wild Atlantic Way on your doorstep and some of Cork’s finest beaches, headlands, and hidden coves within easy reach — Inchydoney, Long Strand, Galley Head, and the quiet roads between them.
Come to walk, to breathe, to slow down. Come to hear the wind off the Atlantic and wake up to nothing but birdsong and green fields.
This is the way to do self catering on the wild Atlantic way.
